Frostbite is the place to chill on the McGill Campus. It is an ice cream shop run by Engineering students.

According to “Peter’s White Bears”, there are 23 different flavours to choose from! For everyone in Homework Zone, choosing was hard. Half of the teams preferred chocolate, and the other half preferred cookies’n’cream! Did you know that Frostbite has been around for over 20 years? Yup, it’s true! Because students run the shop, they know how to make other McGillians feel better: If a student is having a bad day…or maybe they just got an awesome grade on an assignment…the frostbite staff are smiling with an ice cream at the ready.

The staff at Frostbite were very friendly! They even invited their friend Marty the Martlet to drop by. This bird was definitely not shy! With all the hugging, dancing and picture-taking, this crazy bird didn’t even get time for some ice cream. Of course, as the mascot of McGill, Marty is used to being so friendly and energetic at sports games and events.

Just outside of Frostbite, in the McConnell Engineering Building, were racecars! These racecars were built by Engineering Students at McGill. Twelve Years ago, engineering students started the McGill Racing Team. In fact, they have a competition every year with other schools. There is a lot of science involved in making those cars fast and furious.
